I love reading other Tumblr users replies, because they’re thoughtful by virtue of the fact that if they’re not, they’ll bring the intellectual property value of their own blog down, and that’s a commodity on Tumblr.”
I find people who have incorporated “intelligent discourse” into their own self-image tend to be some of the most superficial, and ultimately ignorant individuals I’ve ever had the misfortune to interact with. And what’s all this about intellectual property value!? Aside from making you sound like some sort of colossal wanker, what you are basically saying is that people post things that sound smart so that people will take them seriously. I can see how this may have been the only viable strategy for you to receive recognition, but here you are not promoting intellectual discussions, you’re basically telling people to self-censor their thoughts because this community of intellectual giants like you will scorn and ignore anyone who’s opinion is one you don’t understand, or don’t agree with. The last thing we fucken need is a musician telling people to do things seriously.
Because I can just post a status asking for drugs and someone I know or their friend will know someone who can help me out. This is some shameful shit :O

… I dunno. I used to really dig philosophy, but so much of it is based on the idea of a false reality. And not in the sense that the reality we perceive is not an exact representation of the Universe itself, but rather that our reality is not really REAL. Matrix type shit is what I mean. I don’t mean to say that there is not some infinitesimally small chance that we are in fact existing in some false projected reality, but pursuing the idea philosophically is fruitless, because we have no empirical means to test whether we are living in a real universe, or just a false consciousness that simulates reality. I’d like to try and figure out some experiments to disprove fanciful philosophy, to better define the limits of this world we live in.
